Our Training Services

Comprehensive support for your clinical team at every stage of your mobile imaging program.

Applications Training

On-site, hands-on training for CT, MRI, and PET/CT systems. Our specialists cover system operation, patient positioning, protocol execution, and image quality optimization — customized to your team's experience level.

Protocol Building

We work with your clinical team to build and optimize scanning protocols specific to your patient population and clinical needs. Protocols are documented and saved to the system for consistent, repeatable results.

Remote Support

After training, we remain available for remote assistance. Our team can access your imaging system remotely to troubleshoot, adjust protocols, or provide real-time guidance. Available 24/7 for your clinical team.

Ongoing Tech Support

A dedicated point of contact for your clinical team. Quick response to operational questions and support throughout the entire program — not just at go-live. We're your partner for long-term success.

Credentialed Applications Specialists

Our training staff includes OEM-trained applications specialists with clinical imaging backgrounds. Training is grounded in real-world workflow and best practices — not just button-pushing.

Multi-Modality Coverage

Whether it's Mobile CT, Mobile MRI, Mobile PET/CT, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine — USAMM has the expertise. Training tailored to your specific system and software version.

Hands-On Training

What Training Looks Like

When your facility receives a new mobile imaging unit, your technologists need hands-on guidance to operate the specific system effectively. USAMM's on-site training program is tailored to your team's skill level and your facility's workflow.

Our applications specialists work directly with your staff to cover system operation, patient positioning, protocol execution, and image quality optimization. Training duration depends on your team's experience and the complexity of your system — typically 2-5 days on-site.

Beyond day-one operation, we help your clinical team build and refine scanning protocols specific to your patient population. Our goal is to ensure your team walks away confident, independent, and ready to deliver high-quality imaging.

Step by Step

What to Expect — Delivery to Training

1

Delivery & Placement

Driver positions trailer on the pre-agreed surface (concrete preferred; weight-distribution plates support asphalt). Trailer is leveled via cab-powered hydraulic lifts, connected to facility shore power, generator swap confirmed, and power verified inside the unit.

2

Engineer System Setup

A USAMM engineer meets the driver on-site (or arrives shortly after) to power up the system, run QA functional tests, and coordinate with facility IT to configure network connectivity, DICOM destinations, and PACS image routing. Goal: first images confirmed sending to PACS before handoff.

3

Applications Training

Standard training is a 2-day program (3-day available, fully customizable). Day 1 focuses on protocol setup with the facility's lead tech — protocol development can take a half-day to a full day depending on volume and complexity. Day 2 covers hands-on patient scanning alongside the facility's tech team so every user is confident by session end. Engineer often remains on-site during early training to support troubleshooting.

4

Ongoing Support

Post-training, USAMM remains available for remote support, follow-up applications sessions, and certification-path coaching upon request. Your team has a dedicated contact for questions and optimization as your program scales.
